What creamy silicone is
Food-grade platinum-cure silicone moulded into a dense, cool, slightly glossy body with a 6–8 second rebound. It is the texture behind the highest-priced squishies on the top-ranked sites.
Testing the skin
The failure mode is a torn skin at the seam. Ask for a squeeze-cycle result and look at the seam line on the sample under a phone light. A good seam is a faint line, not a ridge.
Where it sells
Specialty toy shops, online collectible brands and mystery-box programs. It is not a dollar-store item; the material cost rules out the $5 shelf.
Colour and finish
Silicone takes pastel and translucent tints well; glitter must be sealed inside, not surface-applied. Pantone matching is standard.
