Two kinds of sample
Catalogue samples
Samples of designs already in our catalogue. These come first and are the fastest way to check feel, rebound and finish.
Pre-production samples
For custom designs: moulded, painted and packed exactly as the order will be. Production runs only against the sample you approve.
How sample orders work
1. List the designs
Send the catalogue names or links, or your custom brief.
2. Confirm the quote
Sample cost and timing are confirmed with the quote.
3. Photos and video
You get photos and a squeeze video before the sample ships.
4. Delivery
Samples are sent to the address you give us; the courier is confirmed with the quote.
5. Credit on your order
The sample cost is credited against your first order.
What to check on a squishy sample
- Rebound
- How slowly it rises after a squeeze, and whether it rises evenly
- Surface
- Skin coating smooth and even, with no tacky or oily feel
- Seams
- Trimmed clean, with no tearing after repeated squeezes
- Face and logo print sharp and in the right place
- Odour
- No strong chemical smell when the bag is opened
- Packaging
- Packed the way the order will ship
Sample questions
Can I order samples before a bulk order?
Yes. Samples of existing designs come first, and custom samples take longer. Timing is confirmed with the quote.
Do I pay for samples?
Sample cost is quoted with the quote and credited against your first order.
Will I see the sample before it ships?
Yes. Photos and a squeeze video are sent before the sample ships, and again before mass production.
Can the test report come with the sample?
Tell us your market and we send the report for the standard we produce to with the sample.
Can I mix designs in one sample order?
Yes. List all the designs you want to check and we quote them together.
